Coloplast Care
Content in the Coloplast OC Care program was originally developed by US stoma nurses according to WOCN Standards of Care (WOCN: Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™) The content has since been re-written to meet WCET Standards of Care by WCET certified nurses at Coloplast in close co-operation with COF® (WCET: World Council of Enterostomal Therapists) and (COF: Coloplast Ostomy Forum)
The existing OC Care content is continuously evaluated to meet today's recommendations. New content is developed by our WCET certified nurses at Coloplast in co-operation with COF and a panel of experts within exercise, dietary, health care and surgery in UK. The personal stories are written by people living with an ostomy, who would like to share how they have learned to adjust their daily life. They have all given their consent to share their stories globally.
